Pan-Seared Cod with Balsamic Brown Butter
serves 4
Ingredients
- 4 ea cod fillets
- 4 T butter
- 1 T balsamic vinegar
- 1 t shallot, minced
- 1 t lemon juice
Instructions
- Season the fish, then fry in 2 T butter until golden brown on both sides. Plate the fish.
- Melt the remaining butter in the pan with the juices, then add the vinegar, shallots, and lemon juice and season to taste.
- Garnish the fish with the sauce and serve hot.
